Episode 93 with Hermanos Koumori
It’s been longer than I thought between podcasts, but I am happy to have recorded a couple fun episodes recently. The first is now out, in a conversation with Alex Leon and Alex Sandler, the brand’s founders – we dive into the origin story of the brand, the evolution and challenges along the way. I often enjoy discussing the creative process with people and this episode was a fun reminder of the shared journey we all take when trying to bring something into the world ( Link )
3-Part Teaching Series on the Heart, ego and Self
I’m excited and nervous to announce my firs teaching series online, beginning next week. I’ve always loved answering questions but sharing something prepared has been quite terrifying, but the more these pieces come together in my life, the more ready I feel I am to share what I’m learning. Recently I got the message to go for it and lean in, so I’ve set up this online event on Eventbrite and I’m jumping in…
If you’re interested in exploring the Heart, the ego and the true nature of our Self and also our separate self, please join me for these three sessions. We’ll do a short guided meditations, then I’ll share for 20-25 minutes and we’ll have open Q&A, which I think will be the most fun for me. I can’t explore this by myself, so as much as this is something I want to offer, I am also learning by sharing and by hearing and responding to your questions and ideas ( Sign-up Link )
Cycling Retreat 2024
We’re also really excited to announce August 22-25 for our 3rd annual Cycling Retreat in Marin, CA. This has become one of the highlights of my year, where friends and strangers gather for some of the most epic cycling in the country, combined with breathwork, meditation and conversation that open our minds and hearts. The experience continues to evolve as we learn, and this year will include more training guidance and group connection leading up to the weekend, as well as the amazing 4 days and 3 nights together in Marin.
We’re excited to partner with MAAP, Maurten and Rebbl on this experience. We just found out that we’ll have to find a new property but we’ll still be based out of the Marin County area again this year ( Email interest )
RACETEAM UPDATES
The MEP RACETEAM is rolling full-steam ahead. We’re nearing the halfway mark in our 6-month journey to racing Ironman 70.3 Waco, and we have our Topanga Training Camp on the horizon, followed one week later by our main b-race, the Olympic Distance Long Beach Triathlon. It’s been exciting to see the progress, to explore different themes and ways we relate to our bodies, our training and our minds. I’m also really excited for our custom 2XU Trisuits that are coming soon, as well as some more special gear and workouts we’ll be sharing soon.

Thanks again to our partners: Maurten, Tridot, AG1, Oakley, Hyperice, 2XU, Move Lab, Open, Los Angeles Athletic Club and The Feed.
