( MEP ) Updates, Race Team and Mentors
It’s been too long since my last newsletter and podcast but life has been full-on between work, raising a one-year old, getting back to training for triathlon and processing some deep internal movements. I plan to come back to a more regular cadence in the near future, but I’m not quite sure how and what that looks like just yet. While I have a desire to share, so much has been shifting that I’m trying to allow space for the dust to settle.
In the meantime, I finished Rick Rubin’s book finally and I found it truly beautiful and one to return to. I also just started The Tao of Pooh, which I already love and highly reccomend.
Announcing: MEP Race Team
This project is something that’s been developing for years, but really has begun to take form in the last few months. Taking the experience of our 4-day retreats and expanding it over 6-months; working towards peak performance and an Ironman 70.3 while diving into the cultivation of Self, who we are as human beings and athletes and our purpose in life. This will be for a small group, with some amazing brand partners and an epic journey starting in 2024. We’ll be sharing more soon but if you’re interested you can email for more info ( Contact )
A beautiful recap video by David from our Cycling Retreat in July. We’ll definitely be hosting this again in 2024 so mark it on your calendar for late June/early July of next year.

This edition of the compendium is going to be dedicated to some of my greatest teachers on the path. Some I know intimately, some I’ve never met. But they have each helped guide me with their wisdom, experience and work:
This week’s MEP compendium ♾ (Thank you to my teachers)
I had to put Paul Chek first, as I’ve studied at his Institute, worked with him one-on-one and have been deeply inspired by his book and podcast ( Link )
Michael Singer’s book The Untethered Soul was life-changing for me, and I’ve since dove into much of his work and other books including The Surrender Experiment which is equally inspiring ( Link )
In the last couple years,
Ram Dasshas emerged as a huge influence and I feel so grateful that he lived just before me and so much of his talks were recorded
( Link )When it comes to the heart, Sarah Blondin has been my sherpa. Her meditations on Insight Timer and her book have been beautiful gifts ( Link )
When I got into Taoism and Alan Watts, it was also really enlightening and now I am fully in the practice of wu-wear, or I should say the dance. But when it comes to bringing this to life in modern life, Damo Mitchell has been incredible to share his insights and teachings ( Link )
Other notables: Joe Dispenza, Miranda MacPherson, Gabor Mate, Richard Schwartz, Jordan Peterson, Tara Brach, Rick Rubin, Robert Bly, Martín Prechtel, Irene Lyon
