Welcome to Mindful Endurance Program, ( MEP )
You may have been following along from Inventory magazine or Into the Well, but here we are. At the start of something new, and also an evolution of what was, into what will be. I’ve been working hard to figure out how to put everything into a single canon, to create a cohesive story and journey across content, product and experience and MEP is the best answer I’ve come up with. Mindful Endurance Program is where we’ll explore the intersection of spirituality and sport, experiment at the convergence of intentional movement practices and integrating the mind, body and spirit for personal and community growth and connection.

We’ve started our first MEP Run Series in Los Angeles, which will be going for the next 4 weeks, free to attended and hosted by Ryan Willms and Rio Lakeshore. Themes of the series include ReConnection, Slow Discipline, ChiRunning, Sensory Play, Altered Gaze and Mindful Endurance. For more information check out this post and email for more info if you’re interested in attending. Special thank you to Ciele for providing headwear to everyone so far 🏃🏽 😤 🧘🏻
Road to 70.3
For the last year nearly, I’ve been training for my first Ironman 70.3 race and now it’s only a few weeks away. I’ve learned an incredible amount over these months through injury, nervous system breakdown, over-training, under-training, racing my first triathlons, the importance of sleep—let alone endless amounts of training and nutrition books and podcasts. I’ve also had the pleasure of speaking to Mark Allen, Dan Plews and Matt Fitzgerald to glean some of their wisdom. With less than a month to go, I’m started to let go of goals and dreams, accepting the reality of where I’m at and trying to prepare to enjoy the (hopefully) sub-5 hours of exertion.

MEP Coming soon…
🔜 In the coming months I will be changing over Into the Well to MEP, which will include the podcast, Instagram and the website. Making big changes to design, an emphasis on areas of focus and sharing more about the first MEP Cycling Retreat that will be happening at the end of June in Northern California. We’ve already got some great partners on board, and the experience will include yoga, breathwork, Nei gong, great food, nature and of course some beautiful road cycling. I’m excited to share what’s coming and in the meantime I hope you’ll stay in touch with via this Substack experiment. We’ll have exclusive content, product reviews, exclusive audio episodes and more on through this channel, and it’s free for now.
In the meantime, here are some current highlights:
